Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Batán AFC booed when Bañado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Primo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Tancredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Batán AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Gartzea came free, but Hugo Palben reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Silverio Cordaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batán AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silverio Cordaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Tancredo in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Monte saved Bañado from getting behind. Anastasio Tibalt hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Donato Monte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Tancredo in the 19th minute of the match. When Rene Erauso came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Bañado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Erauso couldn't finish the play. Donato Monte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Maiorga went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Silverio Cordaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Tancredo struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Donato Monte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batán AFC. In the 47th minute, Patricio Tancredo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavio Gartzea made a kick off. Bañado's Donato Monte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Tancredo in the 62nd minute of play. Silverio Cordaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Donato Monte came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Batán AFC's Patricio Tancredo. But to his dismay, Patricio Tancredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 72 minutes, Armando Primo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bañado and the Batán AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ignored Batán AFC's protests and gave Simon Maiorga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Batán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Maiorga to maneuver through the defense.
