The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atilano Neto was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Cordaro in the 51st minute of play forced Sportivo Rompe Opis's goalkeeper René Barthez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54thth minute of the game Atilano Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batán AFC's Hugo Palben was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sportivo Rompe Opis's Atilano Neto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hugo Palben. That made the score 1-1 after 58 minutes of play. René Barthez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Tancredo in the 83rd minute of the match. When Sportivo Rompe Opis's Atilano Neto in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
