Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabby Batistuta got free with Gualterio Sadurni in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DIVISORIA's Gualterio Sadurni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save DIVISORIA from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Raul Nesta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CA Cachin's Gabby Batistuta got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Rob Rouvoet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Sadurni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualterio Sadurni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Chrzan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, DIVISORIA's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Rouvoet came free, but Gualterio Sadurni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualterio Sadurni made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Gabby Batistuta sent off a good shot on target. Gualterio Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Chrzan in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the CA Cachin defense, Walter Connor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Cuenca. The CA Cachin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Cuenca should have stopped the shot. Gualterio Sadurni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomasz Chrzan in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, CA Cachin's Tomasz Chrzan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualterio Sadurni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. CA Cachin's Mario Cuenca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salbatore Zapico in the 41st minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomasz Chrzan was the one to do the kick off. Silvano Toribio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. DIVISORIA's Gualterio Sadurni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rob Rouvoet in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match, Salbatore Zapico got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mario Cuenca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 59 minutes into the match, DIVISORIA's Salbatore Zapico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Cuenca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Uriel Saes struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Gualterio Sadurni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Cachin. Rob Rouvoet hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Agustin Perutxo's late challenge caught a CA Cachin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustin Perutxo helped the player get up and apologised. Gabby Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Gualterio Sadurni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomasz Chrzan, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Fermin Jaunzuria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, DIVISORIA's Walter Connor got a free kick in the 80th minute. Jackie Stewart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Rob Rouvoet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Cachin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Gualterio Sadurni came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Cachin's Gabby Batistuta. But to his dismay, Gabby Batistuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 88 minutes into the match, Gabby Batistuta notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of DIVISORIA's Gualterio Sadurni. Gualterio Sadurni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to DIVISORIA getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. In the 94th minute Rob Rouvoet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Sadurni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CA Cachin fully deserved thier win.
