Gregorio Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Mogel in the 15th minute of play forced Capilla's goalkeeper Dalmacio Ofelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luisito Lartaun fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milan Evita's protests and gave Luisito Lartaun a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Milan Evita getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Luisito Lartaun hit a great ball. Enio Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Bastian in the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Andres Urbes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Urbes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Andres Urbes managed to get in a good position for a shot. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
