But to his dismay, Kemal Müfit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Gabriel Rolandsson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Marcial Paskal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Feliu in the 27th minute of play. Marcial Paskal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Feliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Desiderio Feliu made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Paskal. San Martin de Tucumán's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 46 minutes into the match, Mechita's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Bixintxo came free, but Aureliano Dalmai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Feliu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kemal Müfit's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Dalmai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Aureliano Dalmai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kemal Müfit in the 59th minute of play. Aureliano Dalmai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Bixintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62ndth minute of the game Kemal Müfit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mechita's Aureliano Dalmai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcial Paskal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Feliu in the 64th minute of the match. Aureliano Dalmai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Bixintxo in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Desiderio Feliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliano Dalmai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kemal Müfit went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Marcial Paskal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Kemal Müfit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Martin de Tucumán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Gaudencio Bixintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Dalmai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kemal Müfit's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Kemal Müfit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th match minute, Mechita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Goren to maneuver through the defense.
