With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prudencio Sendoa in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Olof Hellström saved Leones FC from getting behind. In the 24th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Ström to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Aquiles Garoa in the 25th minute really tested Sven-Olof Hellström's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 28th minute, Angelo Matei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Fresco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 31 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Bartoli. Prudencio Sendoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Olof Hellström made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Federico Ladio sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prudencio Sendoa made a kick off. Sven-Olof Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Sendoa in the 53rd minute of the match.
