Bafana Bafana AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Martin de Tucumán the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, San Martin de Tucumán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Oinaz to maneuver through the defense. San Martin de Tucumán played a much better game than Bafana Bafana AFC and deserved their victory. The Bafana Bafana AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
