The crowd rose to their feet as Club Somisa's Fabricio Muno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aquiles Lapurdi. That made the score 3-0 after 17 minutes of play. 21 minutes into the match, Club Somisa's Benito Inko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquiles Lapurdi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Salvador Perutxo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Aquiles Lapurdi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Somisa. The supporters of Dominico F.C. booed when Club Somisa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rayman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Somisa's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Inko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Lapurdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquiles Lapurdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Moise in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When Salvador Perutxo fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Somisa's protests and gave Salvador Perutxo a yellow card for diving instead. Salvador Perutxo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Aquiles Lapurdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Perutxo in the 75th minute of the match. Fulgencio Telesforo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilfredo Heli came out and tried to block the shot, but Fulgencio Telesforo slotted it home off the left post making it 5-2 in the 79th minute. Dominico F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvador Perutxo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-2. When the referee ended the match the Club Somisa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
