Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Kemal Müfit got free with Sven-Olof Hellström in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute Camilo Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Paskal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonifacio Oinaz. 9 minutes into the match, Kemal Müfit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Olof Hellström. Leones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kemal Müfit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of San Martin de Tucumán booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Asteri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, San Martin de Tucumán's Bonifacio Oinaz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Cayetano Dodorol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Hellström having to interfere. Sven-Olof Hellström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cayetano Dodorol in the 22nd minute. If Gaudencio Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gaudencio Bixintxo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the San Martin de Tucumán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Bixintxo couldn't finish the play. Sven-Olof Hellström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bonifacio Oinaz went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Cayetano Dodorol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Bonifacio Oinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kemal Müfit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Sven-Olof Hellström made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kemal Müfit was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Gaudencio Bixintxo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Leones FC's Sven-Olof Hellström. Sven-Olof Hellström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kemal Müfit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genaro Iraido kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Kemal Müfit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Olof Hellström came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by San Martin de Tucumán's Cayetano Dodorol. But to his dismay, Cayetano Dodorol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Leones FC's Sven-Olof Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kemal Müfit in the 68th minute of play. Sven-Olof Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Dodorol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes of play, San Martin de Tucumán's Kemal Müfit made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Olof Hellström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute Gaudencio Bixintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Jan-Olof Ström got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Jan-Olof Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Olof Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Lluis in the 81st minute of the match. Cayetano Dodorol took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Olof Hellström. Sven-Olof Hellström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. In the 85th minute, Gaudencio Bixintxo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Olof Hellström was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. With a little luck, San Martin de Tucumán's Marcial Paskal got control of the ball when Angelo Matei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Olof Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Rius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Matei's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcial Paskal firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sven-Olof Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Dodorol in the 95th minute of the match. San Martin de Tucumán walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
