Spectators: 6613 (Terracing: 5613, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christian Brais took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mihăiţă Godeanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Jay-Jay Mamonov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 6th minute, DarkSide FC's Wilfredo Vargas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jay-Jay Mamonov. Jay-Jay Mamonov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Mihăiţă Godeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Jay-Jay Mamonov made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Ariel Cordara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihăiţă Godeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mihăiţă Godeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th play minute Mihăiţă Godeanu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jay-Jay Mamonov. 3-0. In the 32nd match minute, DarkSide FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Eleder to maneuver through the defense. Bafana Bafana AFC's Jay-Jay Mamonov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihăiţă Godeanu in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, Bafana Bafana AFC's Jay-Jay Mamonov got control of the ball when Mihăiţă Godeanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. DarkSide FC's Tiago Gavilanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Ubarna in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

DarkSide FC's Carmelo Ixona was substituted for Wilfredo Vargas. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihăiţă Godeanu made a kick off. Mihăiţă Godeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jay-Jay Mamonov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jay-Jay Mamonov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 75 minutes into the match, Mihăiţă Godeanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jay-Jay Mamonov. Bafana Bafana AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihăiţă Godeanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After 81 minutes, Mihăiţă Godeanu made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bafana Bafana AFC's Jay-Jay Mamonov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Octavio Pelagius kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Carmelo Ixona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DarkSide FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Ixona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute Mihăiţă Godeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jay-Jay Mamonov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jay-Jay Mamonov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihăiţă Godeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Mihăiţă Godeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. DarkSide FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihăiţă Godeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jay-Jay Mamonov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 99 minutes, Bartolo Illan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DarkSide FC and the Bafana Bafana AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 99 played minutes DarkSide FC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Illan. Bafana Bafana AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
