Raimundo Izotz took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Segundo Escobar. Segundo Escobar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Raimundo Izotz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of MACALIN FC's Segundo Escobar. Segundo Escobar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of River Plate booed when MACALIN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Panpili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segundo Escobar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Porfiro in the 25th minute of the match. River Plate's Americo Sidro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save River Plate from getting a goal against them. MACALIN FC's Melquiades Ondino got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in MACALIN FC's zone, Primitivo Porfiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Escobar came out of the goal and Primitivo Porfiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. River Plate's Raimundo Izotz got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raimundo Izotz scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Segundo Escobar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, MACALIN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Porfiro came free, but Segundo Escobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

MACALIN FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Raimundo Izotz 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. In the 60th minute, MACALIN FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Primitivo Porfiro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cipriano Poz might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Segundo Escobar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Poz ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the MACALIN FC defense, Primitivo Porfiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Segundo Escobar. The MACALIN FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Segundo Escobar should have stopped the shot. Cipriano Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Escobar having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, MACALIN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Ondino to maneuver through the defense. River Plate played a much better game than MACALIN FC and deserved their victory. The MACALIN FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
