Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Primitivo Porfiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Dario Arnau hit a great ball. Americo Sidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Vermudo in the 5th minute of play. When Raimundo Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Izotz couldn't finish the play. Fulgencio Gaitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Poz, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Primitivo Porfiro sped through Laplacette AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fulgencio Gaitano. After 12 minutes, Primitivo Porfiro made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Laplacette AFC's Fulgencio Gaitano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Primitivo Porfiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Raimundo Izotz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Gaitano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 24 minutes of play, River Plate's Dario Arnau made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fulgencio Gaitano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fulgencio Gaitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Izotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Raimundo Izotz made a precise shot to the right of Fulgencio Gaitano. Laplacette AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 35 minutes into the match, Laplacette AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Porfiro came free, but Fulgencio Gaitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Porfiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Gaitano having to interfere. If Primitivo Porfiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Izotz took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Gaitano. Fulgencio Gaitano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The wind increased when Placido Vermudo made the kick off in the second half. If Raimundo Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Primitivo Porfiro came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Porfiro couldn't finish the play. The supporters of River Plate booed when Laplacette AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulgencio Gaitano made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Primitivo Porfiro sent off a good shot on target. Fulgencio Gaitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Izotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Frank Lampard dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fulgencio Gaitano, 0-8. After some careless play in the Laplacette AFC defense, Prudencio Ferdinand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulgencio Gaitano. The Laplacette AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Gaitano should have stopped the shot. Primitivo Porfiro took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Gaitano. Fulgencio Gaitano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Izotz in the 80th minute of play forced Laplacette AFC's goalkeeper Fulgencio Gaitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 0-12 when Raimundo Izotz sped through Laplacette AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fulgencio Gaitano. 86 minutes into the game, Prudencio Ferdinand recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fulgencio Gaitano. Prudencio Ferdinand showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13. Fulgencio Gaitano was a little too slow when Raimundo Izotz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-14. Raimundo Izotz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fulgencio Gaitano came out and tried to block the shot, but Raimundo Izotz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-15 in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded River Plate left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Laplacette AFC.
