Orlando Cordarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Leo Nesto made a huge save. Leo Nesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a little luck, Mervaleta FC's Leo Nesto got control of the ball when Orlando Cordarin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Machado got free with Leo Nesto in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Justino Erruki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Walery Nakoneczny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Nesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Machado in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Machado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leo Nesto. Ezequiel Machado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Justino Erruki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Mervaleta FC's goalkeeper Leo Nesto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Cordarin. After a rather tough play, Lavayén AFC's Marcos Galoer got a free kick in the 39th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Epifanio Javiero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mervaleta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Javiero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A nice corner shot did that Victoriano Loi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leo Nesto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 47th minute, Honorio Fix reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leo Nesto. The goal made the score 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Ezequiel Machado made the kick off in the second half. Leo Nesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Abeijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Nesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Abeijon in the 55th minute of the match. Walery Nakoneczny was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dario Quexal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 79 minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Mervaleta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Abeijon came free, but Leo Nesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes, Orlando Cordarin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lavayén AFC and the Mervaleta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes Lavayén AFC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Cordarin. Walery Nakoneczny came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Mervaleta FC's Justino Erruki. But to his dismay, Justino Erruki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. After a defensive mix-up in Lavayén AFC's zone, Justino Erruki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walery Nakoneczny came out of the goal and Justino Erruki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorio Fix in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Nesto saved Mervaleta FC from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Lavayén AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
