Gabriel Navarro was a little too slow when Bernabe Natal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. Fulgencio Ulizes's late challenge caught a Umita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Ulizes helped the player get up and apologised. Emanuel Maxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Vergaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Natal in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of F. C .GUS booed when Umita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Moise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romelio Goñi hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, F. C .GUS's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Vergaray came free, but Emanuel Maxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Umita FC got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Tuste. F. C .GUS were furious when Cesar Urritz was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Victorio Carlomagno shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some careless play in the F. C .GUS defense, Victorio Carlomagno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Maxin. The F. C .GUS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Maxin should have stopped the shot. Saturnino Tuste was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Gabriel Navarro, was totally fooled by F. C .GUS's Bernabe Natal, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Romelio Goñi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damaso Juvenal struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Emanuel Maxin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umita FC. In the 56th minute, Bernabe Natal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romelio Goñi went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. When Bernabe Natal came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the F. C .GUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Natal couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game was made by Victorio Dalmai with Romelio Goñi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Gabriel Navarro came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by F. C .GUS's Romelio Goñi. But to his dismay, Romelio Goñi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. The supporters of F. C .GUS booed when Umita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Ziya Özbey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romelio Goñi in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in F. C .GUS's zone, Reynaldo Casomiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Maxin came out of the goal and Reynaldo Casomiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Fanuco charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Fanuco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes F. C .GUS got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Fanuco. After 90 minutes, Damaso Juvenal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Umita FC and the F. C .GUS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Umita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Juvenal to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Maxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Carlomagno, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Romelio Goñi notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of Umita FC's Gabriel Navarro. Gabriel Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that F. C .GUS were the better team. F. C .GUS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
