Rogelio Guerau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Rogelio Claris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Ioritz in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Gilesindo during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Caravana FC booed when Unión La Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gilesindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Unión La Plata booed when Caravana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Garaile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Guerau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salvador Gilesindo's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 44th match minute, Caravana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Nel to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Francisco Cordarryl made the kick off in the second half. Haroldo Olayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. But to his dismay, Tomás Ioritz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Rogelio Guerau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Olayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Francisco Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haroldo Olayo in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Guerau saved Caravana FC from getting behind. In the 80th match minute, Unión La Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Olayo to maneuver through the defense. The Unión La Plata fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Unión La Plata's Salvador Gilesindo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
