The referee ignored La Toronja Carpintera's protests and gave Juan Xabier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, La Toronja Carpintera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Xabier to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, La Toronja Carpintera's Domingo Peruxu got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Generoso Sabin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rolandi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Toronja Carpintera the free kick. With his leg Camilo Belo managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when La Toronja Carpintera's Domingo Peruxu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 23rd minute, Mariano Bilbo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albano Txeru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rolandi FC's Camilo Belo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Medina in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Medina in the 28th minute of play forced Rolandi FC's goalkeeper Camilo Belo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Domingo Peruxu put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Belo. After 32 played minutes Rolandi FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Toro. After 36 minutes, Mariano Bilbo made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. La Toronja Carpintera's Albano Txeru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Mariano Bilbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Bilbo in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albano Txeru saved La Toronja Carpintera from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arsenio Urtzi during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Rolandi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Urtzi to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Rolandi FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Bilbo made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Domingo Peruxu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Belo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Camilo Belo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Xabier in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play Rolandi FC's Generoso Sabin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 62nd minute Cesar Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Belo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, La Toronja Carpintera's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eulalio Domenec fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 68th minute, La Toronja Carpintera's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mariano Bilbo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mariano Bilbo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 84 played minutes Rolandi FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Inautzi. Mariano Bilbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Txeru having to interfere. Albano Txeru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Bilbo in the 89th minute. If Mariano Bilbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Bilbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Albano Txeru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, La Toronja Carpintera's Albano Txeru got control of the ball when Eulalio Domenec tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Bilbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Bilbo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albano Txeru having to make a save. Despite being the better team, Rolandi FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
