Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1550, VIP seats: 150) Leonel Chesus started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Lino Guerrero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Artal. Talacasto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Guerrero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a little luck, Talacasto's Rafael Artal got control of the ball when Patrick Lidman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Talacasto's Rafael Artal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Chesus in the 8th minute of play. Lino Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Artal having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Talacasto's goalkeeper Rafael Artal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Guerrero. After some careless play in the Talacasto defense, Lino Guerrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Artal. The Talacasto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Artal should have stopped the shot. Lino Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Lino Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Artal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Talacasto's Froilan Ihazintu got a free kick in the 30th minute. Rafael Artal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Lidman in the 33rd minute of play. If Hugo Dodorol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Lidman might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Artal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrick Lidman ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, Talacasto's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Chesus came free, but Rafael Artal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Navarro's late challenge caught a Cobos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Navarro helped the player get up and apologised. Cobos's Patrick Lidman got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonel Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Leonel Chesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Artal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Octavio Paulin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stelian Apostol was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Vincente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rafael Artal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Chesus in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute of the match, Martin Vincente got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stelian Apostol was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rafael Artal came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cobos's Leonel Chesus. But to his dismay, Leonel Chesus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. After having played for 65 minutes, Leonel Chesus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cobos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Chesus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Patrick Lidman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Rafael Artal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 70 minutes into the match, Lino Guerrero notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Talacasto's Rafael Artal. Rafael Artal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lino Guerrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rafael Artal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Artal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Chesus in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Cobos's Leonel Chesus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Artal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. Rafael Artal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Leonel Chesus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-1. Rafael Artal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rafael Artal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Guerrero in the 84th minute of the match. Rafael Artal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Chesus scored 11-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Artal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafael Artal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Talacasto's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Chesus came free, but Rafael Artal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Cobos's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Paulin came free, but Stelian Apostol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leonel Chesus came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Cobos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Chesus couldn't finish the play. Cobos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
