Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Monigotes's Banban McJohnny started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Banban McJohnny in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquilino Osmundo saved Gladiators from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Banban McJohnny in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Osmundo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Banban McJohnny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquilino Osmundo was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Alfonso Quilo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute of the match Guillermo Escobar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquilino Osmundo skillfully saved the ball. Banban McJohnny took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Osmundo. Aquilino Osmundo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Banban McJohnny in the 34th minute of play forced Gladiators's goalkeeper Aquilino Osmundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Osmundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Banban McJohnny in the 34th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Guillermo Escobar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aquilino Osmundo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nicolas Salvator kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Alfonso Quilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Conrao having to interfere. Igor Estebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Banban McJohnny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Osmundo having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Raymond was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Gladiators's goal looked a bit too open when Banban McJohnny came free, but Aquilino Osmundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55thth minute of the game Banban McJohnny who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gladiators's Aquilino Osmundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aquilino Osmundo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Guillermo Escobar sent off a good shot on target. Isaias Conrao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Quilo in the 58th minute of the match. Isaias Conrao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Raymond in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Alejandro Lauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elpidio Indar made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Guillermo Escobar. In the 72nd minute, Banban McJohnny fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aquilino Osmundo, passed just outside the right post. Raimundo Raymond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Medardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaias Conrao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Medardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Igor Estebe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquilino Osmundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Monigotes booed when Gladiators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Quilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Banban McJohnny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Aquilino Osmundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Guillermo Escobar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Monigotes eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
