Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Severino Caetano got the match started through his kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 2 minutes, Aquilino Osmundo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Roman Ostadar scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorenzo Orixe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clodoveo Miliano charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clodoveo Miliano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clodoveo Miliano hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Hernán Stamp took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lorenzo Orixe. Egusquiza's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dalmacio Shepherd took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Osmundo. Aquilino Osmundo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gladiators's Aquilino Osmundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Gladiators from getting a goal against them. If Victor Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Egusquiza's Benito Ulizes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Dalmacio Shepherd might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Osmundo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmacio Shepherd ran back to his position shaking his head. Roman Ostadar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lorenzo Orixe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Caetano's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Dionisio Rico might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorenzo Orixe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dionisio Rico ran back to his position shaking his head. Severino Caetano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenzo Orixe having to make a save. After 44 played minutes, Egusquiza's Felipe Mede shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aquilino Osmundo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Egusquiza reached it. When Simon Eate fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Egusquiza's protests and gave Simon Eate a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Egusquiza getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Simon Eate hit a great ball. Nicolas Salvator missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 46 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Lorenzo Orixe right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benito Ulizes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Egusquiza's Benito Ulizes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquilino Osmundo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Lorenzo Orixe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Caetano in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Severino Caetano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gladiators's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Caetano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62ndth minute of the game Severino Caetano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Egusquiza's Lorenzo Orixe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aquilino Osmundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Ulizes in the 64th minute of play. Aquilino Osmundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Shepherd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egusquiza's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Severino Caetano scored to the left of an out of position Lorenzo Orixe, making the score, 3-2. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Egusquiza's goalkeeper Lorenzo Orixe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicolas Salvator kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Egusquiza got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Benitez. Nicolas Salvator was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Severino Caetano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gladiators's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
