With a little luck, Deportivo Santa Gilda's Lino Mazza got control of the ball when Braulio Valente tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lino Mazza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Amato in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute RAZA CANALLA were awarded a corner. Gonzalo Arlo went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcos Amato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Lino Mazza made a huge save. 35 minutes into the game, Marcos Amato cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Lino Mazza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cleto Telesforo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lino Mazza came out and tried to block the shot, but Cleto Telesforo slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 38th minute. Lino Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Amato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, Deportivo Santa Gilda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Gabrio to maneuver through the defense. Cecilio Azibar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lino Mazza having to make a save. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Santa Gilda's goalkeeper Lino Mazza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.
