Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) The supporters of TEAM EDU booed when FC Rejuntado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Teodoro Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Rejuntado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Vargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Rejuntado's Vladimiro Mundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Poz in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, TEAM EDU's Leon Laurgain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Mundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th match minute, TEAM EDU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Ignatius to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Leopoldo Polentzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th match minute, TEAM EDU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Vidal to maneuver through the defense. If Teodoro Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes FC Rejuntado got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Hernandez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Mazuste in the 23rd minute of play forced TEAM EDU's goalkeeper Osvaldo Felo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hipolito Mazuste did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Osvaldo Felo 27 minutes into the match. Aquiles Osasun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vladimiro Mundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Brion in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Felo saved TEAM EDU from getting behind. Higinio Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Mundo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Dominix got free with Vladimiro Mundo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Teodoro Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in TEAM EDU's zone, Sebastian Brion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Felo came out of the goal and Sebastian Brion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Sebastian Brion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Teodoro Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in TEAM EDU's zone, Teodoro Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Felo came out of the goal and Teodoro Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodoro Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Rejuntado walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
