After a rather tough play, Ramblón's Pablo Munio got a free kick in the 21st minute. Feliciano Rosalio made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Hernan Gumaro sent off a good shot on target. Baldomero Lapurdi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 32nd playminute. Melchor Hodei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Niceto Virila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guido Lucero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Feliciano Rosalio made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Nuevo Horizonte's Hernan Gumaro got a free kick in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Melchor Hodei notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Nuevo Horizonte's Niceto Virila. Niceto Virila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Ramblón were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomero Lapurdi was the one to do the kick off. Baldomero Lapurdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Rosalio having to interfere. When Federico Domiku fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ramblón's protests and gave Federico Domiku a yellow card for diving instead. When Hernan Gumaro came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Nuevo Horizonte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Gumaro couldn't finish the play. After 76 minutes of play, Nuevo Horizonte's Charlie Watts made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliciano Rosalio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aquilino Txartiko struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Feliciano Rosalio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nuevo Horizonte. After having played for 80 minutes, Melchor Hodei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ramblón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melchor Hodei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliciano Rosalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Txartiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Charlie Watts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Virila was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melchor Hodei showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 95 minute of play. In the 97th match minute, Ramblón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Baristo to maneuver through the defense. Feliciano Rosalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Txartiko in the 99th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Ramblón left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nuevo Horizonte.
