Lucio Fresco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the game, GoldoCamilo FC's Rodrigo Orlanda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucio Fresco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Guido Mingo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Fresco having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as GoldoCamilo FC's Guido Mingo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucio Fresco. That made the score 4-0 after 35 minutes of play. GoldoCamilo FC's Giorgos Serametakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Carlomagno in the 39th minute of play. When Guido Mingo fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GoldoCamilo FC's protests and gave Guido Mingo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, GoldoCamilo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Mingo to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guido Mingo to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Tomasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Manuelo came free, but Lucio Fresco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tomasso FC's Eustacio Garikoitz got a free kick in the 54th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Guido Mingo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GoldoCamilo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Mingo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomasso FC's Lucio Fresco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Orlanda in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, GoldoCamilo FC's Giorgos Serametakis got control of the ball when Raimundo Oro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Godfredo Manuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Fresco having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Guido Mingo managed to get in a good position for a shot. GoldoCamilo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Mingo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Fresco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guido Mingo in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucio Fresco saved Tomasso FC from getting behind. Rodrigo Orlanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Fresco having to interfere. Lucio Fresco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Orlanda in the 75th minute of play. Cristobal Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Rodrigo Orlanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Godfredo Manuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GoldoCamilo FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
