The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Atlético Pehuen-Co's Gervasio Beti got control of the ball when Federico Raulo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Los Alerces's zone, Genaro Guillerme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Cordarell came out of the goal and Genaro Guillerme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Celio's late challenge caught a Atlético Pehuen-Co's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Celio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Alerces's Christian Celio got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Pehuen-Co's zone, Maximo Olo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Beti came out of the goal and Maximo Olo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute Maximo Olo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Atlético Pehuen-Co booed when Club Atletico Los Alerces was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Celio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Los Alerces's goalkeeper Mauro Cordarell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 27 played minutes Atlético Pehuen-Co got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Chan. Bertil Gadd kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Alerces's Herminio Formerio got a free kick in the 31st minute. Federico Raulo scored 1-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Beti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gervasio Beti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Genaro Guillerme was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Los Alerces's Christian Celio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gervasio Beti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 57 played minutes Club Atletico Los Alerces got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Olo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Olo in the 59th minute of play forced Atlético Pehuen-Co's goalkeeper Gervasio Beti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Maximo Olo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Raulo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Maximo Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Los Alerces's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Olo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Beti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Maximo Olo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Beti. Atlético Pehuen-Co's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximo Olo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After having played for 83 minutes, Federico Raulo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Los Alerces's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Raulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Beti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Olo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Club Atletico Los Alerces getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Christian Celio hit a great ball. Many of Atlético Pehuen-Co's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Atlético Pehuen-Co may have spent more time on the ball, but Club Atletico Los Alerces were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
