Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Saturnino Sayveon charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Sayveon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saturnino Sayveon hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes, Ruthian FC's Damaso Lartaun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anibal Vedillo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ruthian FC reached it. Filomeno Jon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Beliran having to interfere. Anibal Vedillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Guillerme's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Tomas Piarres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Leonardo Beliran made a huge save. Pablo Guillerme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anibal Vedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Filomeno Jon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fausto Osasun kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Leonardo Beliran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Piarres in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Leo Steven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Libertad Sporting Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ruthian FC the free kick. Leo Steven kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Pablo Guillerme put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anibal Vedillo. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Piarres to strike the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ruthian FC's Christian Peio got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 60thth minute of the game Tomas Piarres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruthian FC's Leonardo Beliran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st match minute, Libertad Sporting Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Sayveon to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Guillerme in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anibal Vedillo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pablo Guillerme struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Anibal Vedillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruthian FC. After 88 minutes of play, Ruthian FC's Damaso Lartaun made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anibal Vedillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the match, Libertad Sporting Club's goalkeeper Anibal Vedillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Guillerme. Ruthian FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Libertad Sporting Club's much stronger midfield.
