In the 7th minute Abel Fe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9thth minute of the game Marcial Rafel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parma's Alberto Norino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulino Elazar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Norino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Paulino Elazar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Parma's Alberto Norino. Alberto Norino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulino Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Norino having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Fe in the 25th minute of play forced CACHI's goalkeeper Miguel Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcial Rafel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Paulino Elazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Marcial Rafel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CACHI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Rafel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Parma's zone, Marcial Rafel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Norino came out of the goal and Marcial Rafel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcial Rafel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes Parma got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Remicio.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcial Rafel to strike the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Oinaz's late challenge caught a Parma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejandro Oinaz helped the player get up and apologised. Parma's Artemio Caitano was substituted for Isaias Tiniebra. Alejandro Oinaz kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Parma booed when CACHI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Oinaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herminio Olo struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Miguel Proença didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parma. In the 65th match minute, Parma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Artaldo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Paulino Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. CACHI's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Elazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Norino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Caitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A hard shot 73 in the game by Marcial Rafel from a close distance when the talented Alberto Norino managed to make a qualified save. Parma's players were relieved. Victorino Havier's late challenge caught a Parma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. CACHI's Paulino Elazar got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Parma's Feliciano Artaldo got a free kick in the 94th minute. Marcial Rafel did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Alberto Norino 95 minutes into the match.
