Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Roberto Olando started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Leo Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Jerardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelcos's goalkeeper Edgard Jerardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 9 minutes, Eugenio Branca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chelcos and the Libertad Sporting Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robustiano Bernaldo charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Bernaldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Chelcos got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Bernaldo. Libertad Sporting Club's Tomas Piarres got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto Olando scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anibal Vedillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Piarres was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Libertad Sporting Club's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Anibal Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Olando, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Edgard Jerardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Jon in the 31st minute. Tomás Kinsen kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Edgard Jerardo came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Libertad Sporting Club's Filomeno Jon. But to his dismay, Filomeno Jon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half Chelcos were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Piarres was the one to do the kick off. The goalkeeper, Anibal Vedillo, was totally fooled by Chelcos's Eugenio Branca, who 53 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some careless play in the Chelcos defense, Filomeno Jon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Jerardo. The Chelcos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Jerardo should have stopped the shot. Robustiano Bernaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Anibal Vedillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Tomas Piarres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgard Jerardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-4. Chelcos's Edgard Jerardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Jon in the 89th minute of play. Leo Steven blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgard Jerardo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Piarres in the 92nd minute of play forced Chelcos's goalkeeper Edgard Jerardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Bladi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 97 minutes into the game, when Eugenio Branca put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of Chelcos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Libertad Sporting Club:s goal. Edgard Jerardo had in the 100thth minute some difficulties stopping Saturnino Sayveon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Libertad Sporting Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
