Spectators: 7645 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) BATIgol FC's Domingo Llorian started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, BATIgol FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Banegas came free, but Angel Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Peruzzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Banegas in the 5th minute of play. After 6 minutes BATIgol FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Niceto Matxin who took care of the corner kick. In the 8th minute, Domingo Llorian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliciano Orti during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Feliciano Orti kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Di Yong Yu came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Esmeralda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Di Yong Yu couldn't finish the play. Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Llorian in the 15th minute of play. When Esmeralda AFC's David Banegas in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nicasio Fonda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Peruzzi having to interfere. Angel Peruzzi came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Esmeralda AFC's Nicasio Fonda. But to his dismay, Nicasio Fonda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani got control of the ball when Feliciano Orti tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, BATIgol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Di Yong Yu came free, but Angel Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, David Banegas made a precise shot to the right of Angel Peruzzi. BATIgol FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Angel Peruzzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Fonda, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jorge Armani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingo Llorian's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 56th match minute, BATIgol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Orti to maneuver through the defense. David Banegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Angel Peruzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Llorian, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute, Cecilio Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliciano Orti hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, BATIgol FC's goalkeeper Angel Peruzzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Banegas. The crowd rose to their feet as Di Yong Yu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angel Peruzzi. That made the score 0-3 in the 90 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Esmeralda AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
