Anibal Vedillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Julian Unax sped through Libertad Sporting Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anibal Vedillo. Anibal Vedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Elija in the 23rd minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Julian Unax made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Libertad Sporting Club's Anibal Vedillo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The corner led BATIgol FC's Julian Unax to fire away a dangerous shot which Anibal Vedillo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julian Unax took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anibal Vedillo. Anibal Vedillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Libertad Sporting Club's Anibal Vedillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Libertad Sporting Club from getting a goal against them. When the match was over BATIgol FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Libertad Sporting Club throughout the match.
