Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fábio Passos in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Arotza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adilson Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Astudillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Natanael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Adilson Ribeiro made a huge save. With a little luck, Guañizuil's Adilson Ribeiro got control of the ball when Jonatan Natanael tried to sneak it across the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adilson Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Astudillo in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Astudillo in the 70th minute of play forced Guañizuil's goalkeeper Adilson Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Gagriel in the 95th minute of play forced Guañizuil's goalkeeper Adilson Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Guañizuil's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Natanael came free, but Adilson Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guañizuil's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
