The Messi Dream Team fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Messi Dream Team's Edmundo Vinhas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luciano Ramos's late challenge caught a Messi Dream Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Luciano Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Bernad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ubaldo Arotza made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmundo Vinhas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ubaldo Arotza. That made the score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Azzurro FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Arotza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Bernad. In the 23rd minute, Godfredo Milio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ubaldo Arotza. The goal made the score 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Astudillo in the 27th minute of play forced Messi Dream Team's goalkeeper Manga I to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, Azzurro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Gagriel to maneuver through the defense. Benicio Bernads short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Ubaldo Arotza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Messi Dream Team fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Messi Dream Team's Benicio Bernad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaudencio Astudillo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Edmundo Vinhas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Arotza was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After 55 minutes of play, Messi Dream Team's Benicio Bernad made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ubaldo Arotza was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th match minute, Messi Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Baladi to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 67 minutes, Cipriano Baladi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Messi Dream Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Baladi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Azzurro FC's Gaudencio Astudillo got a free kick in the 69th minute. Benicio Bernad scored 10-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ubaldo Arotza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Azzurro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Vinhas came free, but Ubaldo Arotza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaudencio Astudillo charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaudencio Astudillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Azzurro FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Astudillo. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Edmundo Vinhas sped through Azzurro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ubaldo Arotza. There was no doubt that Messi Dream Team were the better team. Messi Dream Team's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
