Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gaudencio Astudillo got the match started through his kick off. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Segundo Montay got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Segundo Montay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meteoro's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Montay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Arotza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godfredo Mannie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ubaldo Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Arotza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Mannie went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ubaldo Arotza was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Noel Romero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Noel Romero really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After having played for 19 minutes, Noel Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meteoro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oskar Enegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ubaldo Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godfredo Mannie took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ubaldo Arotza. Ubaldo Arotza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Noel Romero hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Haroldo Peyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ubaldo Arotza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Segundo Montay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 38 minute of play. Ubaldo Arotza made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Segundo Montay sent off a good shot on target. Noel Romero was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Meteoro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Noel Romero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Godfredo Mannie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ubaldo Arotza. Azzurro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godfredo Mannie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Ubaldo Arotza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Enegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Noel Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Luciano Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonatan Natanael kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Azzurro FC defense, Noel Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ubaldo Arotza. The Azzurro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ubaldo Arotza should have stopped the shot. Ubaldo Arotza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Romero in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Meteoro were awarded a corner. Oskar Enegren went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Aurelian Armanca at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Azzurro FC. 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Enegren in the 67th minute of play forced Azzurro FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Mannie took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ubaldo Arotza. Ubaldo Arotza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. In the 71st minute Aurelian Armanca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 72 in the game by Jonatan Natanael from a close distance when the talented Ildefonso Gaizko managed to make a qualified save. Meteoro's players were relieved. Segundo Montay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute, Segundo Montay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Arotza was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. In the 78th minute, Godfredo Mannie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Arotza was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Haroldo Peyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubaldo Arotza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Montay in the 84th minute of play. Ubaldo Arotza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oskar Enegren went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Azzurro FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oskar Enegren was slow to take the kick. During this time Meteoro's players had a chance to rest. Noel Romero struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ubaldo Arotza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meteoro.
