When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Jaime Sal took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Domingos Olayo to make any attempt to save it. 18 minutes into the match, Maranga's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Vermudo came free, but Igor Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Lizer, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jaime Sal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maranga's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Sal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Olayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Sal couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute Jaime Sal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Olayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Gallito del Oeste F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Sal came free, but Domingos Olayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Dantae, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Gaston Chepe kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Vermudo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Jaime Sal made a precise shot to the right of Domingos Olayo. Gallito del Oeste F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Oro in the 62nd minute of play forced Gallito del Oeste F.C's goalkeeper Domingos Olayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Sal took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingos Olayo. Domingos Olayo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Domingos Olayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Sal in the 69th minute of the match. Jose Hanni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maranga made a substitution. Wilfredo Bixintxo replaced Jaime Sal. Maranga's Guido Joseph got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilfredo Bixintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Olayo having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Gallito del Oeste F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Oro came free, but Domingos Olayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gallito del Oeste F.C getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Remigio Txanton hit a great ball. Wilfredo Bixintxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilfredo Bixintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Olayo having to interfere. In the 91st minute Wilfredo Bixintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Olayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes Gallito del Oeste F.C got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Txanton. Apolo Polentzi, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Wilfredo Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maranga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Bixintxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maranga walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
