Celestino Oro came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sixto Domiku could save by the left post. Sixto Domiku showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Sal in the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Roque Ishmael threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pepe Sand 9 FC's Jeronimo Shepherd quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gaston Chepe hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Victorio Tanio got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marciano Inocente. Jaime Sal charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Sal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jaime Sal hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Inocente in the 32nd minute of play forced Maranga's goalkeeper Igor Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Maranga got a freekick which was hit by Guido Joseph. After having played for 35 minutes, Everardo Elorri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pepe Sand 9 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Elorri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaston Chepe hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Jaime Sal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidoro Silvino was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pepe Sand 9 FC's Jeronimo Shepherd got a free kick in the 53rd minute. A throw-in in the 57th minute of the game was made by Roque Ishmael with Gaston Chepe as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Marciano Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Silvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Igor Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pepe Sand 9 FC's Higinio Jacob quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roque Ishmael, made in the 71st minute of the game. Higinio Jacob scored 0-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Selatse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Igor Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Inocente, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Roque Ishmael made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Celestino Oro however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Maranga's Roque Ishmael got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Roque Ishmael made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gaston Chepe. When Celestino Oro came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Maranga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Oro couldn't finish the play. Pepe Sand 9 FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
