The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Ruben got free with Severino Sauveur in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Mariano Sidro made a precise shot to the right of Severino Sauveur. Zubiaurre FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 34th minute Mariano Sidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Sauveur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 4-0 became the score in the 36th minute when Mariano Sidro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Zeledon Evangelista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Severino Sauveur. Zubiaurre FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, HIJOS DE BUJAN F.C.'s Javier Ruben made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Sauveur was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Cibran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zubiaurre FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HIJOS DE BUJAN F.C. the free kick. In the 68th minute, Edelmiro Cibran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Zubiaurre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Salomone came free, but Severino Sauveur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Armando Aguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Mariano Sidro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HIJOS DE BUJAN F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0.
