Club Atlético Talleres's Aquiles Obano got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Ɛʂէմժìąղէҽʂ ժҽ Ӏą քӀąէą's Maximino Cambranes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar George narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maximino Cambranes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Baltasar George tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Cambranes struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Baltasar George didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ɛʂէմժìąղէҽʂ ժҽ Ӏą քӀąէą. Sebastião Esteves was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Ɛʂէմժìąղէҽʂ ժҽ Ӏą քӀąէą's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Aquiles Obano scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Osoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Talleres defense, Maximino Cambranes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltasar George. The Club Atlético Talleres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar George should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximino Cambranes to make the kick off. Dante Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Regis in the 54th minute of play. Baltasar George showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Esteves in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Cambranes in the 59th minute of play forced Club Atlético Talleres's goalkeeper Baltasar George to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Maximino Cambranes notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Club Atlético Talleres's Baltasar George. Baltasar George was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Cambranes in the 63rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Talleres's goalkeeper Baltasar George to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar George prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Maximino Cambranes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ɛʂէմժìąղէҽʂ ժҽ Ӏą քӀąէą fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 87th minute Sebastião Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atlético Talleres were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Ɛʂէմժìąղէҽʂ ժҽ Ӏą քӀąէą's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnoldo Lastur took the corner. Aquiles Obano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ɛʂէմժìąղէҽʂ ժҽ Ӏą քӀąէą's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
