After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, David Maghiran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but David Maghiran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Aureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th match minute, Real Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacho Galván to maneuver through the defense. If David Maghiran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Nico-Jan Daalmeyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltasar George didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Su Yuan Yu went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Club Atlético Talleres's Amado Regis got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amado Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Aureo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Real Racing Club's zone, Marco Lon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Aureo came out of the goal and Marco Lon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Su Yuan Yu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Real Racing Club getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Pablo Acevedo hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, David Maghiran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Su Yuan Yu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Club Atlético Talleres's Baltasar George. Baltasar George was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Casimiro Edwardo in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Real Racing Club's Nacho Galván. Amado Regis might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaac Aureo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amado Regis ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Lon's late challenge caught a Real Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Lon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Talleres's Marco Lon got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Su Yuan Yu sped through Club Atlético Talleres's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baltasar George. The Club Atlético Talleres players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Racing Club were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Su Yuan Yu made a kick off. Amado Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Aureo having to interfere. In the 55th minute, one of Real Racing Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Racing Club. When Nico-Jan Daalmeyer fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Racing Club's protests and gave Nico-Jan Daalmeyer a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Lon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Aureo having to interfere. Su Yuan Yu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar George read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Real Racing Club were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Club Atlético Talleres's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Giorgian De Arrascaeta took the corner. Su Yuan Yu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Baltasar George skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Su Yuan Yu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Aureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Maghiran, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. David Maghiran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Aureo having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Real Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Acevedo. Marco Lon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Aureo having to interfere. In the 85th minute Siro Eder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Aureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Maghiran struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Isaac Aureo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Talleres. David Maghiran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Real Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Regis came free, but Isaac Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Real Racing Club were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Club Atlético Talleres side.
