After 15 played minutes Real Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Ciano. In the 16th minute, Haroldo Jobo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The supporters of Banda Norte booed when Real Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Ciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egidius Seyler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Ferdinand in the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Su Yuan Yu made a kick off. With 56 minutes on the clock, Gregorio Ciano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 60 minutes into the match, Su Yuan Yu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Tabb. Banda Norte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Su Yuan Yu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 64 minutes into the match, Real Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel Messi came free, but Egidius Seyler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Racing Club's Sixto Gurutz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alberto Kepa, made in the 88th minute of the game. Pablo Acevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Tabb having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Real Racing Club had won after a very even match.
