Independiente FC's Carolo Eliu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Victorino Fliz in the 5 minute of the game. In the 7th minute Gilberto Iyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Tibalt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute of the match, Cosme Romero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nereo Tibalt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 13th minute, Gilberto Iyan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nereo Tibalt. The goal made the score 1-1. Gilberto Iyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nereo Tibalt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Romero in the 20th minute of play forced Trisomía 21 FC's goalkeeper Nereo Tibalt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Brais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Urki in the 21st minute of play. Eliseo Arlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th of the match, Gilberto Iyan tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Nereo Tibalt got in the way and made a wonderful save. The supporters of Trisomía 21 FC booed when C.A. Independiente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Nesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Ospetsu in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Brais saved C.A. Independiente FC from getting behind. Nereo Tibalt made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Gilberto Iyan sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute of the match, Cosme Romero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nereo Tibalt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Victorino Fliz kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Gilberto Iyan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nereo Tibalt. The goal made the score 2-1. When Gilberto Iyan came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the C.A. Independiente FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Iyan couldn't finish the play.

In the 51st minute, Casimiro Urki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Trisomía 21 FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Casimiro Urki hit a great ball. Trisomía 21 FC's Nereo Tibalt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Romero in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Gaston Ospetsu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnoldo Brais, 2-2. Baldomero Etor kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 77 minutes, Gilberto Iyan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Independiente FC and the Trisomía 21 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to C.A. Independiente FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gilberto Iyan hit a great ball. Eliseo Arlo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Arnoldo Brais made a huge save. In the 86thth minute of the game Gilberto Iyan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trisomía 21 FC's Nereo Tibalt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cosme Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilberto Iyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Nereo Tibalt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.A. Independiente FC's Cosme Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nereo Tibalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Iyan in the 97th minute of play. The C.A. Independiente FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Trisomía 21 FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Trisomía 21 FC.
