Arnulfo Nuñez came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Maquinistas Navales's Rubinho Valladares. But to his dismay, Rubinho Valladares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rene Diagur hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Prospero Cordarryl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Salvidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Maquinistas Navales getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Salvador Marsh hit a great ball. Prospero Cordarryl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Calixto, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 43 played minutes Holmberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Noe. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rubinho Valladares to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Maquinistas Navales's Rubinho Valladares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnulfo Nuñez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Holmberg FC's zone, Rubinho Valladares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Nuñez came out of the goal and Rubinho Valladares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rubinho Valladares might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Nuñez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubinho Valladares ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacobo Sal kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Dyllen Widdepenninck hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Holmberg FC's Gualterio Calixto got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prospero Cordarryl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Sal, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Maquinistas Navales's Prospero Cordarryl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Maquinistas Navales from getting a goal against them. Jacobo Sal was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Maquinistas Navales booed when Holmberg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Sal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Maquinistas Navales's goalkeeper Prospero Cordarryl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Salvidor. After 81 played minutes Maquinistas Navales got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Marsh. If Ciriaco Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute, Holmberg FC's Gregorio Salvidor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Prospero Cordarryl. Prospero Cordarryl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 95th minute, Holmberg FC's Ildefonso Pirmin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. When the final whistle sounded Holmberg FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maquinistas Navales.
