In the 14th minute Alan Shearer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Illan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mazarredo FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Robustiano Pello hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Segundo Endura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prospero Cordarryl. Maquinistas Navales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Segundo Endura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Silvio Rito came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Maquinistas Navales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Rito couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the game, Silvio Rito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maquinistas Navales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mazarredo FC the free kick. Silvio Rito kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeledon Bartuelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bartolo Illan came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Maquinistas Navales's Alan Shearer. But to his dismay, Alan Shearer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 59 minutes into the game, Maquinistas Navales's Silvio Rito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bartolo Illan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Rubinho Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Prospero Cordarryl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Bartuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prospero Cordarryl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Endura in the 89th minute. Zeledon Bartuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Endura hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Rubinho Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Maquinistas Navales players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
