In the 15th match minute, Diana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Perfecto to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Jokin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Maximiliano Silban made a huge save. Maximiliano Silban stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Jokin's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Jacobo Orlo took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso Gaufred. Celso Gaufred dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Celso Gaufred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Isidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Clemente Isidor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Gaufred was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 38th minute, Clemente Isidor made a precise shot to the right of Celso Gaufred. Diana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 41st minute, Godfredo Raymon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Diana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Gaufred should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Diana's goalkeeper Celso Gaufred had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfredo Raymon. In the 68th minute, Cerrito's Jacobo Orlo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celso Gaufred. Celso Gaufred yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Cerrito's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
