Cerrito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raul Petrescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 25 minutes into the game, Raul Petrescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Maximiliano Silban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rigoberto Seme kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Rawson F.C's Aurelio Pepillo got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Pepillo during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Laureano Jago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Perutxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 minutes Rawson F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Godfredo Raymon who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Godfredo Raymon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Laureano Jago quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godfredo Raymon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maximiliano Silban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Petrescu in the 69th minute of play. After 74 minutes, Pablo Omero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cerrito and the Rawson F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rawson F.C made a substitution. Gustavo Maraman replaced Damian Tristan.
