With a little luck, Gran Pauta AFC's Herbert Tyskie got control of the ball when Fidel Poncio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute Aureliano Peru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Eulalio Berasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliano Peru struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Jonatan Cordarell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gran Pauta AFC. If Joaquin Ixidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Maxin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Herbert Tyskie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Ixidor in the 20th minute of play. After 23 minutes, Erasmo Min mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gran Pauta AFC and the Gloria Verdinegra AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erasmo Min hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Jonatan Cordarell came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Gran Pauta AFC's Edgard Goiz. But to his dismay, Edgard Goiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Edgard Goiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Poncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Herbert Tyskie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Edgard Goiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Jonatan Cordarell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Madeo in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Gran Pauta AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Aureliano Peru hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Teodosio Lertxun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Gran Pauta AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Goiz was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes Gloria Verdinegra AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Norberto Maxin who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Gran Pauta AFC's corner Norberto Maxin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonatan Cordarell quite easily take care of the ball. Herbert Tyskie came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Teodosio Lertxun. But to his dismay, Teodosio Lertxun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Aureliano Peru who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Jonatan Cordarell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Gran Pauta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Ixidor came free, but Herbert Tyskie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Goiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aureliano Peru who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Jonatan Cordarell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Gran Pauta AFC's Edgard Goiz got a free kick in the 79th minute. Herbert Tyskie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Lertxun in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Goiz in the 82nd minute of play forced Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goalkeeper Jonatan Cordarell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Goiz scored 1-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonatan Cordarell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Jonatan Cordarell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ildefonso Palos during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gran Pauta AFC's Norberto Maxin got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gran Pauta AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
