Chusca AFC's Antonio Artaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Peru in the 5th minute of play. Antonio Artaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Goiz's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. A collision led to Chusca AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Albino Bero hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Aureliano Peru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chusca AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Artaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Evelio Bingen came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Gran Pauta AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Bingen couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Clemente Fortun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Chusca AFC's Dalmacio Kemen got a free kick in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Aureliano Peru notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chusca AFC's Antonio Artaldo. Antonio Artaldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evelio Bingen got free with Antonio Artaldo in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute, Albino Bero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Maxin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Artaldo having to make a save. Edgard Goiz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Antonio Artaldo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 48 played minutes Gran Pauta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Viviano. 49 minutes into the game, Clemente Fortun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chusca AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gran Pauta AFC the free kick. After 49 played minutes Chusca AFC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Fortun. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jairo Luix made a kick off. Edgard Goiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aureliano Peru came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Gran Pauta AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Peru couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Chusca AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Peru came free, but Antonio Artaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Artaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Peru's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Aureliano Peru put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Antonio Artaldo. Ciro Viviano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aureliano Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chusca AFC's Albino Bero got a free kick in the 89th minute. Erasmo Min received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Antonio Artaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chusca AFC were furious when Ivan Berbiz was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chusca AFC! The supporters of Gran Pauta AFC booed when Chusca AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Bero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gran Pauta AFC's Aureliano Peru got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Gran Pauta AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
