Albino Serafo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Acosta's late challenge caught a Zelaya FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Acosta helped the player get up and apologised. Zelaya FC's Teo Hulberto was substituted for Octavio Liher. After a rather tough play, Fui a la Pelota's Horacio Acosta got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 19th minute, Salvador Odon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zelaya FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Salvador Odon sped through Fui a la Pelota's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roque Cordarrell. Salvador Odon in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roque Cordarrell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zelaya FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Salvador Odon in the 35th minute. Salvador Odon made a great header on Zelaya FC's corner, it was just that Fui a la Pelota's Roque Cordarrell managed to reach the ball for a save. Roque Cordarrell made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Martin Ladio sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Salvador Odon put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Roque Cordarrell. After 45 minutes, Salvador Odon made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fui a la Pelota's Roque Cordarrell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvador Odon to strike the kick off in the second half. Roque Cordarrell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salvador Odon's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Martin Ladio took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roque Cordarrell. Roque Cordarrell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Salvador Odon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roque Cordarrell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Nazar Kogut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zelaya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nazar Kogut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 minutes of play, Zelaya FC's Salvador Odon made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roque Cordarrell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zelaya FC's Salvador Odon managed to work through Fui a la Pelota's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Salvador Odon dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The Zelaya FC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Zelaya FC's Salvador Odon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 13-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Salvador Odon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Cordarrell having to interfere. The Zelaya FC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Zelaya FC's Salvador Odon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 14-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Zelaya FC's Salvador Odon in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fui a la Pelota fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Odon in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roque Cordarrell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martin Ladio might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roque Cordarrell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Ladio ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Zelaya FC booed when Fui a la Pelota was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Chorche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Eleder might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roque Cordarrell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Eleder ran back to his position shaking his head. Roque Cordarrell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salvador Odon went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 16-0 was the resulting score. 93 minutes into the match, Salvador Odon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roque Cordarrell. Fui a la Pelota's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvador Odon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 17-0.
