After some careless play in the OSOPIO defense, Gaspar Tuste kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeo Pierres. The OSOPIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeo Pierres should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radko Súrbov in the 16th minute of play forced CHACO AFC's goalkeeper Aldo Birjaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorio Fernanco came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tadeo Pierres could save by the left post. Radko Súrbov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 minutes of play, OSOPIO's Radko Súrbov made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Birjaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the match, Bernardo Remicio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aldo Birjaio. CHACO AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardo Remicio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Birjaio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Radko Súrbov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Pierres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Tuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Israel Ritchie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Birjaio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Maximo Marino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aldo Birjaio came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximo Marino slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Israel Ritchie managed to get in a good position for a shot. OSOPIO's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Ritchie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Birjaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Israel Ritchie in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aldo Birjaio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 96 minutes into the game, OSOPIO's Maximo Marino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aldo Birjaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. OSOPIO walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
