Nicasio Artaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Jacobo Marko sped through French FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Gotzon. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Nicasio Artaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. French FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicasio Artaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Pudes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in French FC's zone, Jacobo Marko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Gotzon came out of the goal and Jacobo Marko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 27 played minutes French FC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Rosalio. Jacobo Marko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roque Acuña in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Pudes saved ANGEL LABRUNA from getting behind. When French FC's Roque Acuña in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ANGEL LABRUNA's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 played minutes French FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Astrada. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind French FC's goalkeeper Dante Gotzon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute Roque Acuña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Pudes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When French FC's Nicasio Artaldo in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. ANGEL LABRUNA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Eddie Kinell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ANGEL LABRUNA booed when French FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Gaur didn't get a good kick on the ball. When ANGEL LABRUNA's Jacobo Marko in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicasio Artaldo got free with Luis Pudes in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roque Acuña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Gotzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Kinell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes, Leandro Rosalio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the French FC and the ANGEL LABRUNA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, French FC's Leandro Rosalio got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jacobo Marko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
