Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rigoberto Barto kicked off to start the match. Desiderio Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Gaxan having to interfere. Herminio Ayala charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herminio Ayala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Ciceron during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Rafael Børre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute of the match, Rigoberto Barto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jairo Haitz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 20 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Bertol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Gaxan. Nacimiento AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reynaldo Bertol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Nacimiento AFC's Zeledon Gaxan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Børre in the 24th minute of play. Cristian Ciceron was shown his second yellow card after 25 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Nacimiento AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cristian Ciceron hit a great ball. Zeledon Gaxan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Børre in the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Taladro Nordico's Juan Kepa got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 37 minutes, Desiderio Ekain made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Nacimiento AFC's Zeledon Gaxan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jimeno Rito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Jairo Haitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Rafael Børre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Børre was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Nacimiento AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Iyan to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Børre in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Gaxan saved Nacimiento AFC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Nacimiento AFC's zone, Desiderio Ekain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Gaxan came out of the goal and Desiderio Ekain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reynaldo Bertol struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Zeledon Gaxan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taladro Nordico. With his leg Zeledon Gaxan managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Taladro Nordico's Desiderio Ekain fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Juan Kepa fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taladro Nordico's protests and gave Juan Kepa a yellow card for diving instead. 63 minutes into the match, Taladro Nordico's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Rito came free, but Jairo Haitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rigoberto Barto fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nacimiento AFC's protests and gave Rigoberto Barto a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Nacimiento AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Barto. During the 75th minute of the match Guido Iyan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Guido Iyan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Nacimiento AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Guido Iyan hit a great ball. Desiderio Ekain did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Zeledon Gaxan 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Rigoberto Barto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Kepa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The nice shot from Desiderio Ekain in the 83rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Zeledon Gaxan had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 85th minute, Desiderio Ekain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Gaxan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. If Rafael Børre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Taladro Nordico booed when Nacimiento AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Nacimiento AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Taladro Nordico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
