But to his dismay, Gaspar Bertran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Iyan in the 9th minute of play forced CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!!'s goalkeeper Alfredo Eladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Cloyo to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Bermudo in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Gaxan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jimeno Rito's late challenge caught a CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Rito helped the player get up and apologised. Jimeno Rito kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Zeledon Gaxan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Nacimiento AFC's Zeledon Gaxan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Rey in the 37th minute of play. Rigoberto Barto struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Alfredo Eladio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacimiento AFC. Aristides Santana scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeledon Gaxan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Bermudo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Nacimiento AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Victorino Paulin hit a great ball. Narciso Bermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Gaxan having to interfere. Narciso Bermudo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zeledon Gaxan came out and tried to block the shot, but Narciso Bermudo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 56th minute. Zeledon Gaxan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Bertran in the 61st minute of play. Zeledon Gaxan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Bermudo in the 63rd minute. In the 68th minute, Silverio Fix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nacimiento AFC's Rigoberto Barto in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nacimiento AFC's Zeledon Gaxan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Bermudo in the 91st minute of play. CAÑONCITOO OO OO O !!!'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
